Chinese Year of the Dragon

Lucky Red. David’s year of birth falls under the year of the dragon. It’s going to be a good year.

I painted a dragon for fun this morning on handmade antiqued deckle edge paper. It may have shown up better on white paper, but I really wanted to try out this new paper pack.

I used Cadmium Red, Alizarin Crimson, Iridescent Aztec Gold Daniel Smith Luminescent watercolor and Moonglow.

For those born in the year of the Dragon, 2024 is your year!
