The Masked Bandit: Cedar Waxwing

My husband and I have noticed the cedar waxwings hanging out at our little neighborhood pond. It is always such a delight to see them sitting in the top of the tallest trees. He snapped a few pictures and I decided to have a go at painting these handsome birds.

Painted on 9 x 12 watercolor pad using the following watercolors:

Phthalo Blue

Vandyke Brown

Orange

Scarlet Lake

French Ultramarine

Lemon Yellow
