Dragonfly in Pen and Color Wash
I originally painted the dragonflies over the summer using a different background technique. I sold the original to a local Realtor and wanted to paint it again so decided to have a go at it last week. I stayed true to the original except using a watercolor bloom effect for the background. I have prints available in the shop for sale in an 8 x 10 inch size. The original painting of this version is available also for sale if anyone is interested. It is 9 x 12 inches in size.
