When French Bulldogs fly. I came across a sweet children’s book available on Amazon while doing my French bulldog research. The picture on the cover captured the fun spirit of these tiny wonders. I included a link to the book for those with children who might want to purchase it or to explore additional books by the author.
A dear friend of mine has a baby French Bulldog. Her name is Lady and with ears bigger than she is and short little legs, she is as cute as anything you will ever see.
I came across a watercolor tutorial by Emily Olson https://emilyolsonart.com/that featured 3 dogs in the portrait, but I really only wanted to practice the Frenchie. So here is what I came up with:
My little Frenchie is painted on 9 in x 12 in, 300 lb, cold pressed Arches watercolor block. All in all, not too bad, but I would like to try it again with a smaller dog and add a pop of the color red, similar to the one below. The red against the black really makes the photo pop.
I hope your day includes a POP of color.
Cheers,
Helen

Good morning my friend and Thank you!!!! Take care.
Cute doggie. I can almost guarantee that my day will include lots of color.
